The region of Barolo and Barbaresco, in the Piedmont of Italy, is known for its amazing wines and was Giulietta's home territory. She grew up tasting French wines from her grandfather’ s glass. There she honed her skills and then polished them at the Italian Association Sommelier (AIS) where she graduated as a top level Sommelier.
For more than 15 years, she designed new wineries, additions to existing wineries, new tasting rooms, and shops, working as an art director, wine ambassador and consultant, for many of the revered wineries in Italy.
Her background in Latin and ancient Greek, brings a rich classical tradition to life when combined with her passion for teaching and sharing knowledge. Drawing on timeless themes, Giulietta is able to design and present educational programs which entertain and captivate her audiences.

Merenda con Corvi: a story of success
Not sure of what you need? Clients often approach Giulietta with a general idea of what they need, but not sure where to begin. For this winery, we were able to redesign the brand image according to needs of the new owner, by reflecting their vitality and the excitement of their vision. Today, their business is doing exceptionally well, and we’re proud to have been part of the process.

Whether it is a new winery, an addition, an expansion or restoration, Giulietta is able to bring unique solutions, tailored to your specific requirements, that will enhance not only your visitors' experience, but also that of your staff. She was one of the youngest architects to design an award winning winery.
For La Spinetta she designed their new winery in Tuscany, their guest houses in Piedmont and Sardinia, as well as their personal residences.

Case Study:
Dante Alighieri Society BC : a virtual Grand Tour through the regional diversity of Italy
Giulietta started her profession as an assistant professor at the Politecnico of Turin, where she taught art and history of architecture, as well as interior design.

In 2020, she prepared a multi-week on-line program for the Dante Alighieri Society of Vancouver on Art, Architecture and Wine, partnering with JAK's Wine.
This program combined aspects of artisanal food, art, ancient and modern history which showcased Italy in an entertaining and educational context not normally available to the public.
It was highly successful and saw a growing audience with each episode. Follow up courses have been requested and are being considered.
